Trip Introduction;
Mount Manaslu 8163m is world’s eighth highest mountain located in central – western region of Nepal. The Sanskrit word Manaslu means “mountain of Spirit”. Manaslu massif stands within 40 miles distance from world’s popular Annapurna Range. In the record of climbing history, the first attempt of Mt. Manaslu was made by Japanese team in 1953. The impressive mountain Manaslu looks like zigzag wall of snow and ice hanging from sky. Manaslu region is a popular destination for trekkers and climbers since lots of mountaineering team and trekking team has ascended for long time. Manaslu expedition requires high level of climbing experience, technical skills, excellent physical condition and willingness to conquer. We highly recommend those climbers who already summit 7000m+ mountains and took several climbing courses.

Mount Manaslu Expedition journey with Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition starts by following Manaslu circuit trek trail for first couple of days. Amazing journey to Manaslu Expedition starts from very low elevation (500m) to maximum elevation (8163m). We can have really breathtaking and smooth walking until reach to base camp by exploring several remote villages, valleys, jungles, paddy fields, terraces and scenic views. As our concern about altitude safety and security we strongly suggest every climber to stay minimum two days at base camp for safe acclimatization & preparation. After reaching at Manaslu Base Camp, journey leads relatively straightforward to summit. Having with several technical selections, generally we set up four camps above from Base Camp. There may have possibility of avalanches above from Camp third. After summit, journey gradually descends to Manaslu Base Camp and back to Kathmandu.

Note: It is possible to return directly from Base Camp to Kathmandu by helicopter flight to make short duration of climb.
