Mount Annapurna first is world’s 10th highest mountain in the world located in Annapurna Himalayan Range of Nepal. Full extent of Annapurna range covers 55 kilometers range where Annapurna I 8091m is the highest point. In the history of mountaineering, Main summit of Annapurna stands west of the Annapurna sanctuary. Annapurna I was firstly summit by 2 brave French climbers Maurice Herzong & Louise Lachenal in 3rd June 1950 via its north face. After that, Chris Bonington and his climbing team record their history in 1970 by summiting via its south face. Similarly, in 1978, two American adventure climber ladies (Irene Miller and Vira Komarkova) summit Annapurna I via its north face, made first American ascend to Mt Annapurna. Then after, many adventure climbers used to climbs Annapurna I several times.

As expedition is not easy activity, Mt Annapurna Expedition is one of the hardest climbing mountains in world, with not having high successful rate of climbing – only 109 summits until now. As per the climbing ratio, Mt Annapurna is most dangerous mountain to climbing after Mt K2.
Adventure climbing journey to Mount Annapurna Expedition with Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition Team starts from the same place – gateway of Annapurna region – beautiful Pokhara city.  We follow Nepal’s first and largest protected conservation area “Annapurna Conservation Area” and within first few days, walking journey reach to scenic viewpoint Poonhill - from there we can see great view of entire Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges are spread out with Kali Gandaki River by making world’s deepest Kali Gandaki Valley. Trail continues with gentle walking until we reach to Annapurna I Base Camp by following the places like Tatopani, Ghasa, Lete, Thulo Bugin, Hum Khola and Miristi Khola respectively. It takes around 30-35 days to summit Annapurna I and back to Base Camp. For the climbing of Annapurna, we provide familiar, experienced, quick adoptable, capable, strong, brave and quick decision maker climbing team to reduce all possible technical problems during climbing.  After having Mt Annapurna mountaineering expedition, journey descends to base camp and gradually to Pokhara then drive back to Kathmandu.

Reviews

Successful summit of most challenging Mt. Annapurna

We, climber from Hungary summit Mt Annapurna with a serious climbing company in Nepal - Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition. Overall experience was good. Fortunately we succeed to summit one of the most challenging mountains in the world. We really appreciate hard work of each and every climbing member from NGT to make our experience successful.
We realize it was not easy to summit Annapurna, coz Annapurna expedition has very low successful rate of climbing. We choose one of the best climbing company in Nepal. Previously we climbed Mera Peak and Lobuche Peak with NGT in 2011 and 2013. They offered us best climbing guide. Every climbing trip rely on work of climbing guide, their skills, knowledge, experience and quick decision making capacity – our guide Dawa did great job.
Would love to recommend every trekkers and climbers to choose one of the best company Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition.
