Trip Introduction:
Annapurna Sanctuary Trek - also known as Annapurna Base Camp Trek
is one of the ideal trekking in Nepalese Himalayas.  Amazing Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking offers unlimited natural panorama which cannot even explain by words with spectacular views of world’s well known Himalayan Range including Mt. Annapurna 8091m – world’s 10th highest mountain, Mt. Dhaulagiri 8167m – 7th highest mountain in the world, Mt. Fishtail (Machhapuchre) 6997m, Mt. Nilgiri, Mt. Gangapurna, Mt. Himchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV and many other tantalizing snow-capped peaks. Similarly, the trek explores and experiences culture, tradition, and lifestyle of several cultural villages such as Ghorepani, Ghandruk with highly hospitable natives.

Annapurna Sanctuary trekking adventure journey with Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition starts from beautiful lake city Pokhara, which is also known as a doorway of entire Annapurna Region and Mustang region trekking and climbing. Actual trekking begins after a short drive to Nayapul from Pokhara then to Tikhedhunga. Journey gradually follows largest rhododendron forests in Nepal, numerous numbers of cultural villages, paddy fields and terraces until reach to Ghorepani and Poonhill. Ghorepani is home of Gurung's – one of the indigenous caste peoples in Nepal. Similarly, hike up to scenic viewpoint Poonhill 3210m offers great views of entire Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massif. After Ghorepani and Poonhill, journey heads to Tadapani, Chhomrong, Bamboo, Himalayan Hotel and finally at Annapurna Sanctuary (Base Camp) 4130m. At the lap of world’s 10th highest mountain – Annapurna obviously makes your heaven felt experience with stunning views.  After taking a day excursion to Annapurna Base Camp, our journey starts descending to back Pokhara and then to Kathmandu.

Annapurna region trekking including Annapurna Sanctuary Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek trail is known for uncertain wind-blowing where may arise the situation of natural disaster and avalanches. During that situation, our concern about your safety and security since our decades of experience can provide you well trained, experienced and quick adaptable guide. However, Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking is very much suitable for beginner trekkers, children as well as old ages – overall suitable for all since it’s smoothly made trekking trail and very low risk of high altitude sickness.

Annpurna Range was Extensive

I could highly recommend to this company and our guide Biraj. I didn't realize when we signed up to have a guide that we would actually get a waiter and servant as well !

He did everything to make me comfortable and happy, making sure that I had everything that I needed. His knowledge of the Annpurna range was extensive when asked about the name of one particular mention, he replied by starting the names and exact heights of all the visible mountains in the range. On top of this, he is a friendly guy, inquisitive about my own culture and more than willing to talk about his fantastic trek!

Annapurna region hiking to ABC and MBL

4th August 2008
Just spent 10 fantastic days in the Annapurna region hiking to ABC and MBL. Luckily I was prepared for the 5-6 hour a day hiking!!!

The food was surprising good ? dahl and rice ? P9okhara is a welcome change to Kathmandu ? very relaxing and lovely people I recommend to stay in the silver oaks guest house and drink in pyramid bur nearby.

Dawa (Sherpa) made the trip very memorable , an excellent sherpa, a very strong hiker, good company great fun and highly recommend ? although he needs more practice on the snooker table.

I happily recommend "Nepal Guide Treks & Expedition"

Annapurna Trail and did one of the best trekking

If you are reading this then you are one lucky human ! Prakash and the boys at Nepal Guide Treks & Expedition really know their stuff.

Me and my buddy Kyle were lucky enough to stumble upon this opportunity early in our first Nepal trip. We went out on the Annapurna trail and did one of the best trekking i've ever done in my life. I have been trekking all over the U.S. for years but none of it compores to the stuff we did here. The viens, heights, people, and ambiance are really unlike any other place on earth. Also, when you have an awesome guide, like we did with Bishnu, you'll truely be able to take in everything the Nepali way. I feel very fortunate to have treked with Nepal Guide Treks and if I come back, I should say When i come back I'll definately be contacting them again. I suggest you book with them, you wont be displeased I wish you the best of luck on your treck and urge you to place your trust in Prakash and Bishnu, they're stand up dudes.

Poon hill, though very Tough to Climb

We wanted to thank Nepal Guides for such a great trip. We only had a week to spend hiking in the Annapurna range but it was well worth it. Ang, our porter guide was amazing and took such great care of us. Poon hill, though very tough to climb at 4:30AM was definitely worth it. We will certainly be back!
Thank you!

19th Jan 2008

We would like to thank you for looking after us so well on the ABC trip in April. For me having been previously in October 2001, I was really please to see such a vast difference in the spring. The snow and flora combined with the amphitheatre that is the sanctuary was mind blowing.
