Trip Introduction
Singu Chuli Peak 6501m, also known as Flute Peak is located in the Annapurna Himalayan Range of Nepal. Situated in the heart of Annapurna Sanctuary, the peak rises high above the glacial valley with magnificent views of Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna II 7937m, Annapurna III 7855m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Annapurna South 7219m, Mt. Dhaulagiri 8167m, Mt. Machhapuchre (Fish-Tail)6997m, Hiunchuli 6441m and other high snow-topped mountains. The Singu Chuli peak is considered as one of the difficult peaks to conquer. Singu Chuli Peak Climbing with Nepal Guide treks starts with a drive to scenic valley of Pokhara. From there another short drive on Pokhara - Baglung highway is made to reach Nayapul - the starting point of our trek. After few days of trekking along the terraced farmlands, traditional villages and the green rhododendron filled forests our trailhead towards Annapurna Base Camp. With adequate acclimatization and preparation, we head for the climbing of the summit with climbing experts recommended by Nepal Guide Treks. The climbing includes technical sections as the climb leads to the traverse rounding the skyline ridge. The challenging climb rewards us with the striking scenery of all the gigantic mountains within the Annapurna Sanctuary. After the incredible accomplishment of the summit top, we make a gradual descent to the Base Camp. After experiencing the memorable adventure at Singu Chuli Peak, we follow our route back to the scenic valley of Pokhara. Our trek technically ends with a scenic drive from Pokhara back to Kathmandu.

Accommodations:
Sophisticated hotels and resorts from normal tourist standard category to five-star categories are available in Kathmandu for your accommodation, where you can choose your suitable one. During the entire trekking (apart from the climbing period of Singu Chuli Peak) there is availability of tea house/lodges. And during the climbing period for a couple of days, there need to set up tented camp accommodations. So we will provide all tea house accommodation at available places and camping accommodation at the places where tea house/lodges are not available. Accommodation can be Single, Double, Triple or twin sharing basis as per your requirement.   

Meals: 
Our each and every trekking and peak climbing package trips are inclusive of all meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) including the package trip of this Singu Chuli Peak Climbing during the entire trekking and climbing period, apart from the BB plan stay in Kathmandu. We will have Dinner and Breakfast in the same teahouse/Camp where we spent overnight and Lunch will be en-route of trekking towards next destination since we have to leave our accommodation after breakfast to continue the trek. You can enjoy the taste of varieties of cuisines; Nepali food, Tibetan, Continental, Indian, Italian etc by choosing in the menu. During the camping period while we are in Singu Chuli Peak Base Camp and High Camps, our kitchen team will prepare hygienic foods to serve you. There might not be several choices of foods during the camp as in the tea houses and restaurants; you have to understand that our crew have to carry all camping gears and kitchen equipments from available places but we are sure we will provide as much services and facilities as we can do to make your adventure holiday awesome. 

Physical Conditions and Experience Required: 
Every Peak Climbing is a technical adventure activity in Nepal which requires previous trekking experience and technical skills about peak climbing gears to have successful summit. The trip is very suitable for adventure motivated trekkers who have ability to walk in snows ridges and adventurous trails. Walking in high altitudes might attract by high altitude sickness, slow and steady walk would be the perfect solution. We suggest every adventure seekers who are planning to come Nepal for trekking adventure to do daily around an hour physical workout (jogging, hiking, cycling, gym, etc) prior to a couple of weeks. Previous trekking experience and knowledge about peak climbing is highly required for this peak climb. 
 
Best Season for Singu Chuli Peak Climbing:
Peak Climbing in Nepalese mountain is a seasonal. Basically 3 months in autumn – September, October & November and 3 months in spring – March, April & May are the perfect time for this Singu Chuli Peak Climbing. During the time, weather would be clear, sunny and warm in Himalayas thus we can have great views of mountains. Nevertheless, some adventure-seeking clients who does like crowed environment also can choose December, January and February months for this trip. Monsoon season three months (June, July and August) will be ruined by rains.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu [1345m4411ft] and transfer to Hotel.
Our airport arrival and departure representative will be at Tribhuvan International Airport on your arrival schedule. You will be transferred to hotel and our staff will help you until check-in procedure ends at Hotel. Either you can have rest at Hotel or visit NGT’s office. In the evening, join our welcome dinner program organized by Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition Team.

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara [820m/2689ft] [5 hrs drive]
Today we drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara along the scenic zigzag hilly roads. Pokhara is a beautiful town set on the banks of the Fewa Lake. Pokhara is tourist's paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains. It is smaller and much less hectic than Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive to Nayapul[1.5 hrs drive] & Trek to Tikhedhunga[1577m/5172ft] [3-4 hrs trek]
We drive for another one and half hour to reach Nayapul - the starting point of our trek. From Nayapul we start our trek along the sub-tropical Modi Khola river valley towards Birethanti. At Birethanti we make a stop at the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP)'s checkpoint. After completing the permit check process we continue our trek through terraced rice paddies towards Tikhedhunga.

Day 04: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani [2855m/9364ft] [5-6 hrs trek]
From here we follow the trail crossing a stream before climbing up a steep stoned staircase towards the large Magar village at Ulleri 2070m. We continue our trek through rhododendron and oak filled forests passing through Nangethanti to reach Ghorepani. From here we have good views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchre and other fascinating snow-capped peaks.

Day 05: Morning hike to Poonhill [3210m/10528ft] & Trek to Tadapani [2590m/8495ft] [5-6 hrs trek]
We make an early morning hike up to Poonhill for enjoying the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri 8167m, Annapurna South 7219m, Machhapuchre (Fish-Tail) 6997m, Tukuche Peak 6920m, Hiunchuli 6441m, and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks. Then, we continue our trail downhill through dense rhododendron filled forest towards Tadapani. On our route we can see variety of wild animals, birds with eye-catching waterfalls and sceneries along the way.

Day 06: Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong [2340m/7675ft] [5-6 hrs trek]
From Tadapani we descend through additional rhododendron and oak forest arriving at Chhomrung for a midday lunch. Chhomrung is a Gurung Village, and the highest permanent settlement in the valley with a tremendously vast view across to Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare. The day closes with an overnight stay in Chhomrung.

Day 07: Trek from Chhomrong to Bamboo [2335m/7658ft] [4-5 hrs trek]
We ascend a long and steep stoned staircase through Chhomrung towards Kuldi. The trail continues through beautiful rhododendron forests and up to Sinuwa. From Sinuwa, the trail leads up to Bamboo for our overnight stay. Along the route we can have a glimpses of Langur Monkeys jumping from one tree to another.

Day 08: Trek from Bamboo to Deurali [3230m/10594ft] [5-6 hrs trek] 
The route goes steeply down along the bank of rocks and then levels out. From there the trail winds steeply up through deep bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Doban. From here we continue to follow our trail to reach Deurali for the overnight stay.

Day 09: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp [4130m/13546ft] via Machhapuchre Base Camp [3700m/12136ft] [4-5 hrs trek]
From Deurali the valley widens. We head on to the lateral moraine and down the other side to the glacier. This leg of the journey takes us up to the bed of the glacier passing through Machhapuchre Base Camp before finally arriving at the Annapurna Base Camp 4130m for our overnight stay.

Day 10: Rest at Annapurna Base Camp
To avoid mental and physical sickness at higher altitudes, acclimatization is very crucial. Thus before heading further up to higher altitudes, we take a day rest here at Annapurna Base Camp. Besides, we can enjoy the scenic mountain panorama of Annapurna I 8,091m, Annapurna South 7,219m, Gangapurna 7,455m and Annapurna III 7,555m from here.

Day 11: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Tent Peak Base Camp [4800m/15744ft] [5-6 hrs trek] 
After spending a good acclimatization day at the Annapurna Base Camp, we start our day by crossing Annapurna glacier and then following the trail which ascends steep uphill towards Tent Peak Base Camp. Although the trail is rather difficult, we are rewarded with good views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchre (Fish-Tail) and other surrounding peaks.

Day 12: Trek from Tent Peak Base Camp to High Camp [5,200m/17056ft] [5-6 hrs trek]
From Tent Peak Base Camp we continue to follow our trail that ascends uphill all the way to High Camp. The uphill journey can be tiring, so resting while walking can be done which helps to restore energy. We camp at High Camp for our overnight stay.

Day 13: Rest at Tent Peak High Camp. 
Before we continue further up to higher altitudes, we take a day rest here at Tent Peak High Camp for acclimatization. In order to achieve the summit we must be fit both physically and mentally. So, today we prepare and make ourselves fit for the peak climbing.

Day 14: Climbing High Camp to Singu Chuli Camp I [5,500m/18040ft] [5-6 hrs trek] 
After spending a good acclimatization day at the High Camp, we follow the trail which is often icy and snow covered. If necessary we use our crampons and make an uphill journey to reach Singu Chuli Camp I where we camp before heading higher up.

Day 15: Singu Chuli Camp I to Singu Chuli Camp II [5,800m/19024ft] [5-6 hrs trek]
Today we make a tough ascend passing along icy and snow-covered trail that heads towards Singu Chuli Camp II.  As soon as we reach Singu Chuli Camp II, we set up our tents and make necessary preparations for climbing of the peak summit tomorrow.

Day 16: Singu Chuli Camp II to summit [6,501m/21328ft] & Back to Singu Chuli Camp II [8-9 hrs climb]
Having checked our physical and mental conditions, and the climbing equipments - we start early for the climbing of the Singu Chuli Peak summit. Following the directions given by the experienced climbing experts of Nepal Guide Treks, we overcome the first part of the climb which is rather technical. Then using the ropes, ice axes and other equipments we make the challenging climb to the summit. Once at the top we get the magnificent and rewarding views of gigantic mountains within the Annapurna Sanctuary. After spending quality time at the summit we descend down to reach Singu Chuli Camp II.

Day 17: Singu Chuli Camp II to Tent Peak Base Camp [5-6 hrs trek] 
From Singu Chuli Camp II, we descend by re-tracing our steps and following the same trail back to reach Tent Peak Base Camp for our overnight camping.

Day 18: Trek from Tent Peak Base Camp to Machhapuchre Base Camp [5-6 hrs trek] 
We continue to descend downhill from Tent Peak Base Camp following the same trail back. Passing through Annapurna Base Camp we head towards Machhapuchre Base Camp for our overnight stay. An up close view of Mt. Machhapuchre(Fish-Tail) 6697m, from here is surely an amazing feeling.

Day 19: Trek from Macchapucchre Base Camp to Sinuwa [2340/7675ft] [5-6 hrs trek]
Today we make a gradual descend along the same trail passing through Deurali, Himalaya, Dobhan, Bamboo finally to reach Sinuwa.

Day 20: Trek from Sinuwa to Jhinudanda [1750m/5740ft] [4-5 hrs trek]
From Sinuwa we descend down to Choomrong Khola before climbing up to Choomrong Village. From here we continue on our trail which descends steeply towards Jhinudanda. Here at Jhinudanda, we can visit a hot spring for relaxing and washing away our tiredness.

Day 21: Trek from Jhinudanda to Pothana [1890m/6199ft] [5-6 hrs trek] 
From Jhinudanda we follow our trail by descending and then appearing through flat line to reach Himal Pani. From here the trail ascends gently crossing several streams and terraces towards Landruk - a big village inhabited by Gurung, Magar and Brahmins. After a few hours of uphill and downhill walk we reach the Gurung village of Pothana.

Day 22: Trek from Pothana to Dhampus Phedi [1130m/3706ft] [4-5 hrs trek] & Drive to Pokhara.
Our trail from Pothana descends gradually for at least an hour and follows gravel road for two hours. Then the trail steeply descends to Phedi passing through paddy fields and forest protected by local community before reaching Dhampus Phedi where our trekking ends technically. From here we take a drive back to Pokhara.

Day 23: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu 
It takes approximately four to five hours drive to reach Kathmandu from Pokhara. We drive along Prithvi Highway which offers scenic hilly zigzag roads through the banks of Trishuli River. At the evening feel free to join our farewell dinner program.
