Sikkim with an area of just 7096 sq. km, situated in the eastern Himalaya, boasts of rich biodiversity and high mountain ranges. Mt. Khangchendzonga (8586 meters) the third highest peak in the world, and the guardian deity of Sikkimese people, lies along it western ramparts.
Variation in altitude ranging from 200 to 8586 meters (height of Khangchendzonga), provides an opportunity to visitors to experience crossing over from sub-tropical to temperate zones, followed by alpine and high-altitude areas in a short span of time.
Trekking in Sikkim has its own charm. Trails run though rich biodiversity and rich cultural life of Sikkimese people.
There are numerous routes for trekking in Sikkim, which are at their best during spring and autumn. Springs provides clear Mountain View with varieties of flowering plants in blossom. On the other hand, autumn provides a dry and clear mountain views.
Most of the mountain areas in Sikkim have a fragile ecosystem. This demands any trekkers to obtain special permit to trek. Trekking in Sikkim is conducted in an organized manner. Individuals cannot trek on their own.

Darjeeling, Situated in North East India, just south of Sikkim, Darjeeling provides the perfect ambiance of a hill resort with it's mild climate and laid back charm. Its verdant hills and valleys are steeped in colour, and are interspersed with vast streatches of rolling green tea gardens. Presiding over all this is Mt. Kangchenjunga, the third highest mountain on Earth, looming over the northern horizon, giving a magical aura to the land that leaves one's senses intoxicated.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at the airport, welcome by our representative and transfer to the Hotel. At the hotel briefing about the program by our representative.
Day 02: Sightseeing
Kathmandu city, Swoyambhunath, Patan city.
Day 03: Kathmandu-Siliguri
Flight to Biratnagar. Drive to Siliguri about 4hrs. Overnight in hotel.
Day 04: Siliguri-Darjeeling
After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling about 4hrs. In the afternoon: sightseeing of Darjeeling.
Day 05: Drive Darjeeling to Daramdin in Western Sikkim. Daramdin is a market village in Sikkim. This is also the place where the Lepchas (original inhabitants of Sikkim) tried to reach Heaven by stacking pots made out of mud. If one looks carefully one can still find bits and pieces of the pottery. Overnight in Tents.
Day 06: Drive Daramdin to Darap en-route visit Pemayangtse Monastery. The second oldest Monastery of Sikkim belonging on the old unreformed Nyingmapa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Overnight in Tents.
Day 07: Drive Darap to Yaksum, the first capital of Sikkim enroute visiting Keshipalri the holiest of holy lake. Evening visit Dubdi Monastery and stone throne, where the First King of Sikkim was crowned. Overnight in Tents.
Day 08: Drive Yaksum to Tashiding. Visit Tashiding Monastery. This is the monastery, which predicts the coming year over Sikkim. Every year around Mid-March, the Bhumchu Festival is held here. The highlight of the festival is the opening of the Sacred Cave, which houses the “Jar” given to the Monastery by Guru Padmasambhava. The water level in the jar predicts the year for Sikkim. Overnight in Tents.

Day 09: Drive Tashiding to Hot Springs of Sikkim. Spend the rest of the day bathing in the revitalizing mineral springs. Overnight in Tents.
Day 10: Drive to Darjeeling and overnight
Day11:Drive to Biratnagar and to Kathmandu.
Day 12: Kathmandu sightseeing and free for shopping
Day 13: Transfer to the airport for international departure
Note: It is possible to combine with some other activities such as white water rafting and wildlife safari. The itinerary can be customized according to your duration of holiday.
