Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu [1345m/4411ft] and transfer to Hotel.
Our airport representative will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport on your arrival schedule. Then you will be transferred to the hotel located in the heart of Kathmandu. Our staff will help you until check-in procedure ends at Hotel. You can either have rest at Hotel or visit NGT’s office for gathering more information about Naar Phu Valley Trek. In the evening, join our welcome dinner program organized by Nepal Guide Treks & Expedition Team.

Day 02: Sightseeing at Kathmandu

Note: It is not possible to visit all world heritage sites in Kathmandu within a day. So you can choose at least 3-4 places for a day sightseeing.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Chamje [1410m/4626ft] via Beshisahar [823m/2699ft] [7-8 hrs Drive]
Today we will drive along Kathmandu-Pokhara highway to Dumre. From Dumre we continue our drive following the narrow and paved road by the side of Marsyangdi River to reach Chamje. During our journey, we can enjoy the natural sceneries and observe the daily activities of the local people. Before it was possible to drive only to Besisahar, but now recently built motor road makes it possible for us to reach Chamje - the starting point of our Naar Phu Valley Trek.

Day 04: Trek to Dharapani [1860m/6100ft] [5-6 hrs Trek]
From Chamje we start our trek by crossing a suspension bridge over to the east bank of the gorge and climb to narrow section of the valley to reach the village of Tal. We make an official entry to Manang District. From there our trail goes through landslide affected area before crossing a bridge over Marsyangdi River and pass through Khotro to finally arrive at the Gurung village of Dharapani.

Day 05: Trek to Koto [2600m/8528ft] [5-6 hrs Trek]
From Dharapani we continue a moderate trek to reach the village of Bagarchap. From there we climb steeply through dense forest filled with fir and pine trees before arriving at Timang. We will have magnificent view of Lamjung Himal from here. We will continue on a flat trail and then descend before climbing again to reach Thanchok. From there we descend to reach Koto for our overnight stay.

Day 06: Trek to Singenge [3230m/10594ft] [6-7 hrs Trek]
After registering at the Koto check-post we will follow the trail that descends down towards a suspension bridge over Naar Phu khola and trek upstream to cross another suspension bridge over Seti Khola tributary. From there our trail becomes steeper as the gorge closes in forming a canyon. We continue our trek with thrilling experience of crossing a wooden bridge before making a climb to the stone huts of Singenge for overnight stay.

Day 07: Trek to Kyang [4100m/13448ft] [6-7 hrs Trek]
From Singenge we will follow the trail that passes through the seasonal settlement of Meta. From here we will have good views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. From here we will traverse around the hillside to a board clearing of Junam Goth. Our trail from here climbs a little before dropping down to cross Mruju River. From there we will climb steeply and cross an eroded section of moraine to reach our camping site at Kyang. From here we will have great view of Pisang Peak.

Day 08: Trek to Phu [4580m/15022ft] [5-6 hrs Trek]
Leaving Kyang we will enter a narrow gorge and then descend down to the river. We will not cross the wooden bridge over the river, instead, we will follow the trail that heads north. We will climb steeply before descending gently towards a series of deserted buildings and large chortens. From here we will cross a suspension bridge to arrive at the village of Phu.

Day 09: Exploration day at Phu Valley; Visit Samdu, Choling and Tashi Monastery.
Today we will take a rest day for exploring around Phu village. It is believed that the stone village of Phu is as old as 800 years. Spend your day wandering over the small streets that take you back in time. Also, climbing up to Tashi Monastery is the best way to spend your exploration day at Phu.

Day 10: Trek from Phu to Lower Cheyako [3450m/11316ft] [5-6 hrs Trek]
Today is a rather easy day trekking. After spending a good day exploring at Phu village we will retrace our steps following the same trail that descends down to Phu river. From there we head towards Kyang and continue trek until we arrive at Lower Cheyako.

Day 11: Trek to Naar Valley [4110m/13480ft] [5-6 hrs Trek]
We will follow the trail that heads for the crossing of a suspension bridge and start to climb on a broad trail with magnificent views of Pisang Peak and Kang Guru. We will continue to trek with gradual ascend through beautifully terraced farmlands to reach Naar village. The village has several tea houses and good camping sites.

Day 12: Trek to Kangla Phedi [4530m/14858ft] [4-5 hrs Trek]
Leaving Naar village we will follow the trail that passes along a small hydro plant and then climbs to reach a broad valley to the west of Naar. We continue to trek through yak herding pastures and kharka until we arrive at Kangla Phedi.

Day 13: Trek to Ngawal [3660m/12004ft] via Kangla Pass [5306m/17403ft] [7-8 hrs Trek]
Today we start early for the crossing of Kangla Pass at 5306 meters. We will climb towards the top of the pass that is decorated with many prayer flags. From the top we will have good views of Annapurna III and IV, Machhapuchre (Fish-Tail), Tilicho Peak and the entire Manang valley. We will descend from the top to reach the village of Ngawal.

Day 14: Trek to Manang [3800m/12464ft] [5-6 hrs Trek]
Leaving Ngawal we will follow the trail that descends to flat fields along the banks of Marsyangdi river. We will trek through forested area passing through Mugji to arrive at the 500 years old village of Braga and then continue trekking to reach Manang. Manang is an acclimatization stop so there is an abundance of tea houses and other kinds of services.

Day 15: Rest day at Manang
Today we will take a rest day for exploring around Manang. Besides, Manang has a lot of offers for its visitors. Manang is a medieval, Tibetan-style village where there are many teahouses and campsites. The best view of Annapurna II 7939m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Annapurna III 7555m, Gangapurna 7454m, Tilicho Peak 7134m and other snow-capped peaks can be seen right in front of us.

Day 16: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka [4110m/13484ft] [3-4 hrs Trek]
Leaving Manang, we will follow the trail that turns north and then climb a stone wall with a gate that stops domesticated livestock from leaving the grazing grounds of high pastures. From there we will gradually descend towards a suspension bridge over the Ghyanchang Khola where we will find couple of tea shops. From here an hour's moderate walking will lead us towards Yak Kharka.

Day 17: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi [4600m/15092ft][ 3-4 hrs Trek]
Today we will start following the trail that climbs fairly at an easy gradient to Ledar. After around one hour of trekking from Ledar, we will descend towards the wooden bridge over the Kone Khola. Crossing the bridge we will continue to climb and then follow a rather easy trail that leads to Thorong Phedi where there are extensive teahouses and services.

Day 18: Trek to Muktinath [3800m/12467ft] via Thorang La Pass [5416m/17764ft] [7-8 hrs Trek]
Today, we will start early for the crossing of the challenging Thorong La Pass, to avoid the strong winds at the pass after midday. We will climb steeply up towards a watercourse before climbing through another large gully formed by the melt of Thorong Peak. From there we will continue climbing across undulating moraine towards the top of the Thorong Pass. Once at the top we will have great views of Annapurna Mountain Ranges to the south and Mukut Himal bordering Dolpo to the west. From the top, we will descend steeply towards the grassy meadows and further to a very important pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists - Muktinath.

Day 19: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom [2730m/8954ft] [3-4 hrs Trek]
From Muktinath, we will follow the trail that leads to Jharkot. From here we will avoid the motor road by following a small irrigation stream to reach Khingar, but from here onwards we will have to follow the road route that will lead us all the way to Jomsom. Jomsom is the main administrative center and headquarter of Mustang. After arriving at Jomsom, we will celebrate the completion of our trek.

Day 20: Fly to Pokhara. Full day sightseeing or free for personal activities
We take an early morning scenic flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. Pokhara is home to thick forest, emerald lakes and a place of remarkable natural beauty. The reflection of the Machhapuchre (Fish-Tail) Himal over the serene Fewa Lake makes this place truly magical. Besides, visiting sacred places and sightseeing around the city in Pokhara could be a good way to spend your day.

Day 21: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
It takes approximately four to five hours drive to reach Kathmandu from Pokhara. We drive over the Prithvi Highway which offers scenic hilly zigzag roads while driving along the banks of Trishuli River. The daily activities of the local people can be seen along the road when we pass through numerous villages and towns before finally arriving back to Kathmandu. In the evening we will celebrate the completion of Naar Phu Valley Trek and have a final meal together.

Day 22: Transfer to International Airport for departure.
