Khopra Ridge Trek Difficulty
Khopra Ridge Trek in overall is a moderate trekking experience. Except the steep stairs at the Ulleri and the day Hike to the Khayar Lake at the foot of Annapurna South, rest of the trail is relatively easier. Khopra Ridge Trek takes you to a maximum altitude of 4500 meters at Khayar Lake. The altitude gains during this trek are also quite low. Adjusting to the altitude changes will be relatively easy.

As you are trekking in mountainous areas, you are likely to encounter some steep up hills and down hills along the way. You will hike up more than 3000 stairs in Ulleri. Low altitude gains during the trek combined with regular up hills and down hills means that Khopra Ridge Trek is a moderately difficult one.

Though this trek is not that much difficult, some amount of physical preparations are necessary. A few preparation hikes will also help you immensely to complete this trek. Prior trekking experience is not necessary. However, good physical condition is must.
