I trekked @ EBC, Goyko and Chola pass, which was fantastic.
Hurry a porter is definitely a good idea.
My guide was competent and had years of experience, so we made it through the Everest trail shortly. As always, weather was a factor but it did little to interrupt the beauty of the landscape. It was hard work, but my guide Asha gave recommend drinks for limiting the effects of high altitude. If you take the trek it will be a challenging and worth able experienceLance
We wanted to thank Nepal Guides for such a great trip. We only had a week to spend hiking in the Annapurna range but it was well worth it. Ang, our porter guide was amazing and took such great care of us. Poon hill, though very tough to climb at 4:30AM was definitely worth it. We will certainly be back!
Our trip was with a group of friends - trekking, white water rafting, Chitwan National Park and sightseeing in and around Kathmandu With the help of Nepal Guide, our trip was organized for us and went very smoothly. From our arrival at the airport to our departure Nepal Guide were there to help us. Our guides and porters were polite, helpful, and friendly. Having never trekked before our expectations were not always realistic, but overall we were satisfied. We were well cared for and transported from one destination to another safely. I would recommend Nepal Guide. They were very good value for the money spent.Decor8r
I had the luck to do both trekking in the Everest region and in the Annapurna region. I chose to get help, support and information from the local trekking office Nepal Guide Treks & Expedition (p) LTD in Kathmandu. The manager Mr Prakash Devkota welcomed me heartly and arranged both trips as all inclusive tours for the time and budget I had. My guide while trekking in the mountains was his brother Mukesh, who could tell me a lot of interesting things about the people, country, landscape and Nepalese life. The trekking tour to the Mount Everest Base Camp (13 days) started with a flight to Lukla and already from the plane it was possible to see the panorama of the Himalayan mountains.
Every day we walked several hours and when we reached the lodge in the evening I felt really tired but happy. Here far from the city and modern life, in small villages high up in the mountains you really feel a unique atmosphere. On the way we enjoyed the view and changing vegetation, saw yaks and met other trekkers, slept in nice lodges where friendly people served us the food. We also vistited the great monastery in Tengboche. The greatest moment was of course to see Mount Everest (8848m) from the view piont called Kala Pattar. The tour in the Annapurna region (one week) started near the city Pokhara, to where we went by mini bus. Here we walked to the view point called Poon Hill from where it is possible to see a great montain panorama with for example Machhapuchhre ("Fish Tail" 6993m). Very beautiful was also the village Ghandrung. The days in Kathmandu I stayed at Lhasa Guest House, what was a good choice as well as to make the trekking tours with Nepal Guide Treks & Expedition. I took a lot of memories back to Sweden and can definately imagine to return to Nepal again.Martin from Sweden
It is hard to articulate how lucky and thankful I am that I walked into Nepal Guide Office from the first moment and first cup of tea I was treated with respect and honesty. There are so many trekking companies in KTM, it is almost impossible to know who to trust, my instinct, after visiting countless agencies, told me Prakash would make my trip memorable. He far and away exceeded my expectations; I first did the Annapurna Circuit Trek, what a way to first see Nepal! My guide was Rajan, he made me feel night at home and gave me such an ?inside? look at the scenery and Culture, I was then supposed to leave Nepal and travel to China. However I had such a great time on my first trek, I decided to stay and climb the Island Peak and do an Everest region trek. Prakash custom scheduled a trip for me. In a word, it was amazing! Again, Rajan was my guide for the trek. Ang Dawa was my climbing guide. I cannot say enough how much fun Island Peak Was. I have been traveling for quite a while and Prakash and Nepal Guide Treks are truly the capstore of my trip. Please feel free to email me with any questions or more info. Id love to talk about my adventures!Cheers, Alexi Black (alexi_black)& Friends
Sorry for my late reply, I am very busy with my school now.
All is well, we came back after a good entire day of stopover in Mumbai. Very tiring.
I treasure very much our trip to Nepal, it was really very good.
I have told of our trip to friends, there may be some other group interested in your expeditions in the future. On my side, I would like to make a 4,500m and 5,000m before attempting one of your 6,000m, maybe Island Peak. I have no idea about the timing, I only know I would like to do it at some point in the next 5 years.
I will let you know in case there is anybody interested in trekking in Nepal.
Until that moment, stay safe and in good health.

Having engaged the services of Nepal Guide Treks in October 2007 there was no question at all that when I went back with my wife in june 2008 that we would once again be calling on the professional services of Prakash and his team to organise everything for our Poon Hill & Ghorephani Trek and Chitwan National Park. As on our first visit to Nepal we could not fault the way in which we were looked after from our pickup at the airport to the way all our needs were met. Our guide Rajendra went well out of their way to look after us and we thoroughly enjoyed having their company and knowledge on the trek. They always listened to our needs while trekking and we only walked at a pace that suited us.
We would highly recommend Nepal Guide Treks to anybody wanting to visit Nepal.Marie & Casper

He was also very aware of indemnity me felling me all about various temples and other points of intent along the way. Hw always put me this saying "this is your holiday"
Thank you very much sudip! And thank you prakash.Cheers, Mang Sloen, Cabera, Austahi
From the moment i bumped into D.B. at the airport I felt these guys were a safe bet. I had no previous experience of trekking or Nepal. But Prakash listened to my plans and put together a great trip. The price was very reasonable, and he managed to get me a guide, Dawa Sherpa, who was happy to carry my pack. He was a great guy to walk with for 22 + days, nothing was ever a problem, he always give me bet price for lodging, food, beer + cigarette and other essentials. Whenever I wanted to rest, we rested, when I wanted to push onto the near village, sometimes in the dark, we would. He didn?t complain once. Ever ewhen I suggested we climb Island Peak (6189m.) with no climbing experience, he made it happen, using his own experience and Savoy and contacts,. We got a permit and equipment from chulung , and a second guide, with excellent experience- and up we went . It was the perfect end to a superb trip, huge amount of fun, great exercise, great value. You should use this company, Nepal Guide Treks, they will listen to you and you can trust them on price, knowledge, experience, and general ease + pleasantness to deal with.
Have fur, all the best and let these guys with after your.Kind regs,

When I was preparing for Nepal Trip, I did not have any idea about where to begin, how to go there, what is the process, best season etc. One of my friend suggested me to use Nepal Guide Treks for my Nepal Trip. Our dream really fulfilled by Nepal Guide, me, my wife and my son enjoyed a lot from Gokyo Lake Trek. On the way, I saw very careless, non-professional trekking staffs from various organizations and I realized we are very lucky to get wonderful service from Nepal Guide Treks with good service, well skilled trekking team and fair trip cost.
I am planning to do Annapurna Base Vamp Trek next year with Nepal Guide.Visited October 2013

We have had really amazing Mera Peak Climbing Experience in Nepal. Last year we summated Singu Chuli Peak with Nepal Guide and this year again came for Mera Peak Climbing. We are very familiar for Nepalese society, culture, Nepalese people and everything. We do recognize other trekking and climbing agencies but we choose Nepal guide to make our climbing experience successful.
We would obviously contact them again for next trekking or peak summit trip.Summited on 2013
